With the recent social, racial, and ethnic uprising in America, privileged and underprivileged Americans are now at a pivotal point in time, faced with never-before-seen opportunities to reshape America through the creation of innovative programming that will lead to economic and social mobility for all citizens, but first we must learn basic civic, social, and educational skills to build a strong society.
In doing so, Black Americans need a new starting point to begin obtaining the knowledge and skills needed to reach their full potential. Noir Black Chamber of Commerce Inc. is committed to "Moving Black America Forward" through support for America's next black generation ages 9 to 24, by the launch of its national Noir Black Business Club initiative, which is focused on establishing clubs on college and university campuses across the country, as well as creating online high school, middle school, and elementary school clubs to teach business education and professional skills earlier. Intergenerational trauma therapy, homeownership, and finance are a few other initiatives The Chamber has identified as key pillars to success for our next black generation, in the hope of it leading to economic and social mobility for Black Americans ages 9 to 24 within one generation.
