"Get Certified To Bid On Corporation, City, State, and Federal Contracts"
Minority Groups get access to opportunities through diversity certifications for a seat at the table to grow their business. Let’s get started!
IF you identify as a Female, LGBTQ, Veteran, Asian, Black, Hispanic, or Native-American, you are considered a minority group. The government, state, local, private, and public organizations have established supplier diversity spend goals specific to these minority groups. CERTIFICATION is a recognition tool and a means to gain access to opportunities and to get a seat at the table.
IF you identify as an organization that values a diverse supply chain of certified vendor partners, Go 2 Girl requests the opportunity to have a conversation to develop and challenge your procurement, on-boarding process, vendor management reporting, solicitations and supplier diversity initiatives.
MY WHY… GET CERTIFIED!
I believe that diverse-owned businesses obtain or seek certification and lack the resources to navigate the time-consuming portal process and become frustrated that it’s even necessary. I’m working for transparency in corporate systems and advocacy towards fair opportunities. Certification can be a tool to get a seat at the table if a business development plan is in place.
Go 2 Girl℠ has always been a natural introduction for President & CEO, Vanessa Pennoyer. While working through several corporate positions in sales/marketing and business development, she’s attended countless tradeshows/conferences and networking events always being introduced as the “Go 2 Girl”, so she decided to own it. The name became official during a night class in 2016 working on her MBA as a wife, mother of two, full-time employee, daughter, sister and friend, all of life’s necessary distractions when trying to stay above water and get the bigger degree. Go 2 Girl is about results and influencing relationships to inspire change. ~Vanessa Pennoyer
I was fortunate to have met Vanessa right after I launched the chamber, and I was immediately impressed with her knowledge of the certification process, and her commitment to getting minority businesses certified, as well as her knowledge on what corporations, cities, states, and the federal government should be doing to increase their organizational's spend with minority, women, handicap, and disadvantaged businesses. If you are unsure how to get certified or you need assistance with the paperwork process...Vanessa with Go 2 Girl is your answer, and that's why I recommend her to my members.
